Ivan completed the Teen Challenge program in 2003, after which he began long-term work with numerous international civil organizations in the field of humanitarian action and addiction recovery. For the last few years, he has been working as an external associate and advisor to the Crossroads Serbia organization. He currently lives in Belgium, where he is actively involved in research and projects dealing with functional addiction, relapse prevention and post-traumatic recovery.

He has significant expertise in the field of cultural intelligence, social acceptance and self-awareness, acquired through many years of work in multicultural and international contexts. He graduated from a university in the Netherlands, is married, is the father of two children and has been working for the World Partners organization in Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium and Cyprus for the last 14 years.
